The WPSL’s mission is to provide the highest level of soccer in an effort to: bring affordable & quality family entertainment to the community; display positive role models for our youth; while, being a stepping stone for aspiring professional & international-level players.

The WPSL is in its 23rd season and is the largest women’s soccer league in the world with 141 active teams from coast to coast.  WPSL rosters feature elite collegiate, post-collegiate, international, and standout prep student-athletes. The great variety of highly skilled players is what makes the WPSL truly successful. Many college programs encourage their players to play in their summer league because they believe it helps them prepare for the upcoming season. These players gain tremendous experience playing alongside other dedicated, competitive players, some of whom are former professional soccer players and others who are aspiring to become professionals on or off the field. Many of the United States’ most accomplished women’s players have played in the WPSL, including household names such as Alex Morgan, Abby Wambach, Megan Rapinoe, Julie Foudy, and Brandi Chastain.

In addition to player development, Pleasanton RAGE will value the tradition of giving back, and investing in youth players in our community. During the summer and at our home matches RAGE will take advantage of the opportunity to hold clinics for local youth and provide a fun and entertaining match experience, which will encourage youth players to continue with the sport and build the RAGE fan base.

Pleasanton RAGE is committed to furthering the opportunities of local female athletes.  We aim to inspire the youth female athletic population and to serve as role models to young women who love the sport of soccer.
